Chocolate Dipped Marshmallows Recipe
These chocolate-covered marshmallows are ideal for any occasion. They're simple to make and can be customized with your favorite toppings. Both children and adults will enjoy them.
Ingredients
- Toppings can be sprinkles or crushed cookies
- 1 large marshmallow bag
- (optional)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 5 minutes
- Total Time: 15 minutes
Instructions
- Using parchment paper, line a baking sheet.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil and microwave in 30-second increments, stirring after each interval, until melted and smooth.
- Dip each marshmallow into the melted chocolate, shaking off the excess with a fork.
- Place the chocolate-dipped marshmallow on the baking sheet that has been prepared.
- While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle with your favorite toppings.
- Refrigerate the baking sheet for about 20 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.
- Remove from the fridge once it has set and serve.
