Chocolate Dipped Rice Krispie Treats Recipe

A delicious layer of chocolate on top elevates these Rice Krispie treats to the next level. They're ideal for a sweet snack or dessert, and they're also simple to make.

Instructions

Using parchment paper, line a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
Stir in the mini marshmallows until they are melted.
Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
Place the mixture in the prepared baking dish and evenly press it down.
Allow the mixture to cool and set for 30 minutes.
Melt the chocolate chips and vegetable oil in a double boiler or microwave until smooth, stirring occasionally.
Cut the Rice Krispie treats into squares and dip each into the melted chocolate halfway.
Place the treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and set aside for 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
Serve and have fun.
