Hot Cocoa with Marshmallows and Cinnamon Recipe
This cozy and delicious hot cocoa recipe will keep you warm on a chilly day. The addition of cinnamon and marshmallows elevates it to new heights.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups milk
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 15 minutes
Instructions
- Combine milk, cocoa powder, sugar, and cinnamon in a medium saucepan.
- Cook, whisking constantly, over medium heat until the mixture comes to a simmer.
- Remove from the heat and add the vanilla extract.
- Divide the hot cocoa among four mugs and top with mini marshmallows in each.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
